A new train of thought

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Prepare to witness the most disorganized set of philosophical ramblings on the face of the planet. Nothing is out of bounds and nothing is taboo. The things written here are for the purposes of exploring the intellect. Not all of them actually reflect how I feel or think, but rather a thought that I wanted to take a little further and push to the limits. Welcome to "a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination."

I have chosen the title of the blog for two reasons. First, because it is my all-time favorite quote. Secondly because it implies that we will, through the rigors of mental self examination, reach some kind of higher plane of thought. Or more likely that we will get so tangled up in our own notions that we will have no idea what we beleive (which is perhaps in itself a worthy enough discovery that it can be given the title "astra").
